Audit Senior
Job Duties: Understand personal and team roles responsibilities and objectives; Practice the EP audit approach and utilize the available tools;
Understand clients’ needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values, and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues; Assist and participate in audit engagement planning, including binder roll forwards and preparation of risk assessments, audit programs, and other planning documents; Perform or supervise staff complete detailed audit procedures and analytical procedures on financial statement account balances and related disclosures; Assist with more complicated segments of the audit and accounting engagements; Recognize potential problem areas or internal control issues and communicate them to the engagement team; Prepare financial
statements and audit report; Research accounting issues; Train and assist new or less experienced audit staff by providing directions and guidance; Perform other accounting, auditing, or consulting assignments as needed in engagements and as assigned.
Will supervise 1 intern and 4 staff accountants.
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in accounting or closely related field. Travel 10% throughout Central and Southern California per year.
